Vivian Ku, DVM

Chief of Staff

I received my degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2004. Immediately upon graduation, I joined the staff at Walnut Creek’s Encina Veterinary Hospital for a 1-year internship. At Encina, I was able to work for hand-in hand with various specialists, including internists, dermatologists, oncologists, and surgeons, gaining valuable experience I critical and urgent care.

After Encia, I began work at Princeton in October 2005, and have thoroughly enjoyed the family-like staff and client relationships. As a local resident in San Jose, I am honored to treat and care for the loved critters in our community.

I have a spunky Spaniel-cross whom we call Beans, named by my husband when he was going through a soybean phase back in 2008. The other member of the family is our black-and-white purr monster, Poppy. Whoever said dogs and cats don’t get along sure hasn’t seen our household! =)

We fostered a little Chihuahua cross we named “Spark”. She came to us with both her front legs broken. She got along with our family so well during her recovery that we adopted her into our family as well.

I look forward to meeting you at Princeton, and always trying my best to provide the most compassionate and thorough care for your 4-legged family members.

Dr. Ku and her husband have a boy! His name is Finley Preston Huang & he is adorable!
